Second Presentation Blog Post by Christopher Alfonso
Welcome to my post, today we will be talking about a themed presentation we did for Speech Class. This presentation was split between the groups with topics that are issues around the global. Group 1 was about law and education around the globe. Group 2 was about health and immigration. Group 3 was about racial divides and the pandemic affecting America.
Group 1 was about law and education around the globe. This group did an overall great job. They gave great information and they knew what they were talking about. Most of the presenters didn’t have their cameras and some read what was on the screen. To make it seem that they know what they were saying they could’ve made it seem they fully knew the topic by summarizing their slides and given more information that is not written on their part of the slide. But with all this, everyone in group one did perfectly; they just needed to turn on cameras.
Group 2 was about health and immigration within the United States of American. I am part of group 2 and in the beginning we were uncooperative. But later on, we did our work and we did great. Like I said in group one, most of our members didn’t have their cameras on and read off the slides. I did see some people stutter their words but not a lot. Overall, I believe we did awesome and we could fix the problem of us being uncooperative. If we pass that issue, every project after will go smoothly with no problem whatsoever.
Group 3 was about racial divides and the pandemic affecting America. Group 3 did a perfect good. The way they talked about their subject was professional and informative. Their slides were very informative and I understood all their parts. They did run into a technical difficulty but overall they did great. If we were on campus, I believe they wouldn’t have this problem where one person can’t speak because on their internet. Everyone in group 3 was present in class and performed perfectly. All they need to fix is the technical difficulty they had and they would have gotten a perfect grade.
In conclusion, All of the groups did perfectly. We just all have to fix our issues and we will be being ideal. All groups did have very informative slides and I understood every topic that was said. I would say it was a shame that only a handful of people turned their camera on and summarized their slides so others have more time on their own. I do see that the presentations we do drag on longer than the class time we have.
Very good but there isn't a name on this post.
