 Theme Project

       Our second presentation covered many important topics that affect us today and will continue to affect us in the future. All three groups emphasized the importance of their assigned topic. The topics discussed by each group displayed subject matter on account of the presidential elections happening today. The themes scrutinized consisted of law and order, education, health care, immigration, racial divides, and the pandemic. 

     Law and education was the first theme presented by group one. The first group unfolded their presentation by speaking on the rallies and protests that occurred after the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Many Americans across the country protested against racial injustice and police brutality towards African Americans. Racism is a never-ending disease that has affected the lives of many human beings. The protests commenced when Americans decided that enough was enough. Group one spoke on the racial injustice that African Americans have had to face due to the color of their skin. People of color are often victims of racial profiling, systematic racism, and death due to the color of their skin. Group one did an excellent job of delivering information on their topic. Their presentation was very informative and straight to the point. Group one added visuals to their PowerPoint that provided extra knowledge for the audience. They did a great job overall. 

     Immigration and healthcare were touched on by group two which is my group. Healthcare and immigration have impacted the lives of many individuals across the country. My group and I discussed the history and importance of healthcare in the United States. We provided a great deal of information on healthcare and how it coincides with immigration. We spoke on the population of immigrants that have migrated to Florida seeking better opportunities for themselves as well as their families. My group and I failed to communicate with one another during the process of putting together our project. Although we had trouble with communication, my group and I provided beneficial information on healthcare and immigration. We had multiple visuals to keep our audience engaged during the presentation. I believe that we have learned from our mistakes and will work more effectively in our next project. 

      Last but not least, group three was the last to present their project on racial divides and the pandemic. Group three spoke on the Black Lives Matter movement which consisted of many protests across the world. These protests consisted of numerous people from different backgrounds fighting for African Americans against racial injustice. Group three also provided information on various organizations that contributed to the fight against racial injustice. They added many visuals such as images and videos on the protests that started back in March of 2020. The global pandemic that is currently happening was also spoken on by group three. They incorporated more useful information on the pandemic. Their PowerPoint was very straight to the point and did not include more words than they were supposed to. I believe they did a great job of delivering their PowerPoint presentation. 

    Overall, I think each group did a great job on their PowerPoints and did great on the delivery of each topic.

  Welcome to my post, today we will be talking about a themed presentation we did for Speech Class. This presentation was split between the groups with topics that are issues around the global. Group 1 was about law and education around the globe. Group 2 was about health and immigration . Group 3 was about racial divides and the pandemic affecting America.  Group 1 was about law and education around the globe. This group did an overall great job. They gave great information and they knew what they were talking about. Most of the presenters didn’t have their cameras and some read what was on the screen. To make it seem that they know what they were saying they could’ve made it seem they fully knew the topic by summarizing their slides and given more information that is not written on their part of the slide. Second presentation #2

 I’m here to talk about our second presentation we did about law and education, the other was immigration and healthcare and last racial divides and the pandemic. Honestly, I gotta say this project that we all did with these very good topics I learned a lot about each one of them. And every each group explain the topics so perfectly and very full important stuff about them. Just wanna to say great work to all of us for this topics we did together.  So here I can to talk about the groups when they explain there each topics starting with group 1; they talked about law and education how important it is to our community and what do they do.  Maria F. Torres Rojas       Fore this big project we did in different groups we were assigned different topics per groups. This project was about things that have been happening for years an that are still currently happening, things that has never gone away. Group 1 got to talk about Law and Order-Protests/ Rallies and Education, Group 2 got to talk about Health Care and Immigration and for the final group, Group 3 got to talk about Racial Divides and The pandemic.      Group 1 (Law and Order-Protests/Rallies and Education) did a really good job organizing the project. They divided there presentation in two talking about there 2 different topic. a group of student in there group talked about Law and Order-Protests/ Rallies and a group of them talk about their other topic Education.
