SPC Group 2

    In this project, I believe each group group did a great job at presenting their assigned chapters considering the circumstances. The slides from each group were very informative and provided examples such as videos and pictures to help better understand. The first group was assigned chapter 3 which was about Intercultural Communication meaning interactions with different cultures. The second group was assigned chapter 9 which was about Communicating in Groups meaning talking to friends, support groups, and family. The third group was assigned chapter 10 which was about Group Leadership and Problem Solving meaning leadership among a group of individuals and helping each other.

   During the first presentation, group one talked about intercultural communication. Group one informed us on verbal and nonverbal interaction between people from different backgrounds. Group one did an amazing job at effectively explaining what the chapter was about. They used many informative videos and pictures that helped us understand what they were talking to us about. Group one was very informed on their topic and did a great job at explaining it to the rest of the students in a very professional manner. Group one did a significant job at performing especially while being the first group to present this semester. 

 

  The next group to present was group two, which was my group. My group and I talked about the Nature and Types of groups, Characteristics of healthy groups, Stages of group development, and Conflict in groups. The students provided multiple videos and pictures on the slides in order to give out audience a better understanding of the presentation. Our presentation was very organized and professional while using the tools necessary in order to create an informative project. Presenting online was a different experience but my group handled it well and delivered a great presentation. When it was my turn to present, I was very nervous because I was not used to presenting on camera. I believe I could have done a better job at presenting and I will be keeping that in mind for my next group presentation. I hope to gain more confidence in my presentation skills as the semester continues. 

      The last presentation was group three. Group three discussed systematic problem solving, evaluating group effectiveness, leadership and etc. Group three did a great job at explaining their topic although not many were able to present. Group three provided the audience with pictures and videos just as the other groups. Their slides were informative and the videos were enjoyable to watch.             

              Even though each group could have done better, I believe that the next group project will be done better and presented better. The groups have to work on keeping track of time and turning on their cameras while presenting. Each group did a great job at keeping the audience informed and keeping us entertained. I know our next presentation will be better than ever. Although this year has been hard and unfamiliar with everyone, I am glad that the students were able perform professionally and.
