SPC Group 2
This month my group and I had to do our first presentation for our class. Our professor divided us into three separate groups in order for each group to have the same amount of work. We all had to communicate with each other’s on our own time after class in order for us to do our work in sequence. We never had the opportunity to see face to face with our teammates, but we still completed our work on time by texting or calling. Each group had a different day to present their presentation. My teammate and I texted each other every day to make sure everyone was on track with their part of the project.
The first group that presented had to talk about intercultural communications. They had to read chapter 3 and do a presentation explaining and giving details about what intercultural communication is and how is it used. Group One also talked about cultural identity and how cultures are all different. For me Group One had a really good presentation, they had amazing pictures and videos to show us more information about the chapter they read. While hearing group 1 percent, they sounded like they knew the information they have read, and they understood it correctly. Also, while they were presenting, their communication skills we're really good and understandable.
My group was group 2 so we pretended after them. Our topic for the presentation was about communicating in different types of groups which were chapter 9. We learned about different types of groups and good characteristics to have within those groups. When they came to our group, we all divided our chapter into smaller parts so everyone could have an equal amount to read and write about. We gave each member 3 lessons of the chapter and we had to do 3 slides for those lessons we read. We all did the slides we needed to do for the presentations on our own time and if we had a question, we just asked each other for extra help. Once we all started to finish reading our chapter and lessons, we started to do our slides on PowerPoint. We all had a specific order to start doing our slides depending on who had the first lessons and who had the last lessons of the chapter. For our presentation, I believe we did very well. We all had amazing videos and good pictures that described what we were talking about and each member of the group really knew what they were talking about.
The last group was Group 3 and their presentation was about leadership and solving problems. They also included really good pictures and videos to show good examples of their main topics. They showed us about being prepared for work and solving problems together when it comes to 2 virtual learning. The topic of Group 3 really tied to the topic of group 2 a one because even though they're all different chapters they also rounded the same meaning behind them.
Each group and each individual student that worked on other presentations did an amazing job on their slides. While we start the next project, I feel like each student it's going to get better at presenting getting better information for their projects.
