Presentation #2

     The year 2020 has been full of surprises but the most important events of this year would have to be the global pandemic of coronavirus and the fact that it is an election year. These two are big factors that will shape our lives forever. That is just one reason why this second presentation although a little more stressful than the first one was definitely very informative and educational. In this presentation, we were going to talk about law, education, immigration, healthcare, racial division, and the pandemic. These are important topics that everyone should know about especially in times like these. We divided these important topics into three groups and this is how it went. 

    Everything began with group one presenting law and education. The presentation was well put together and it was easy to understand. When they would go into details about the topics they used several pictures and graphs that would help me personally as a visual learner. They explained their topics and how it relates to today’s life which was very important because we must understand that these are just not things that we should read about but also understand and identify the right from the wrong. The whole group explained it in ways that would keep their audience entertained and eager to learn more. 

    Group two was in charge of healthcare and immigration and this is where I come in. Although our planning wasn't that great we did a great job presenting our topics. In my opinion, we were the perfect procrastination group but that did not stop us from creating a really good presentation. We covered the topics that were supposed to talk about, we gave it the importance that they needed, included pictures, graphs, videos, and we made it easy to understand. People say that most young people don't really pay attention or get educated on healthcare and immigration but I think we really broke that stereotype with our classmates. We kept it short, informative, and entertaining which is why it ended up being a great presentation. 

    The whole presentation ended with group three talking about racial division and the pandemic. Honestly, I think that this was the most organized group. Their presentation was amazing and they covered the two most important topics of the year. They added the perfect amount of pictures and videos and they took us back with them. For me, it was a flashback of everything that has happened this year but the best part was them outlining the problems from it so we can learn from our mistakes as a society. Their presentation educated us through our own lives and no else was able to do the same. 

    In conclusion, the whole presentation was great and very educational. Learning from classmates it's always a different experience and a great way to see their point of view on the matters they are explaining. This presentation was very much needed before making my vote towards the next president and I'm really glad we did it because like I said at the beginning these choices will shape my life.
