Our Second Project

Last class, we did our second project and the first group did law and education, the second group did immigration and health care, and the third group did was racial division. The best part was doing the project and exposing it. I love to explain my points about the project and my options about the project. The first time we did a project, the teacher put us into three groups. Each group had two important topics. We also had to read a couple of chapters in our book, and we used that to do the project. Now, I am going to talk about my experience and about what I think about the projects.

           The first group talked about law and education. In my opinion they did a good job on their project. They also made really good points. These are really important topics that matter to everyone. From what I heard, this group had bad communication with each other, but despite that, when they were exposing their project, everything looked well. They used pictures , graphs, and videos that made it easier for the class to understand their points of view.

The  second group was mine. Our topic were immigration and healthcare. I did enjoy this experience because I was teaching the class about the history of immigration and how it is involved with public speaking. Also, in our group there was lack of communication between everyone in the group, and because of that we were having trouble to turn in parts of the project. To be honest, I don't like working in groups because they always answer you back late and sometimes they don't do the work that they have to do. At the end, our project had a lot of good information. We got in depth in our topic, and where able to express our point of view. Those are two important topics, so there were a lot to talk about. As our last project, we made it too long and we put pictures and videos. What I think about our groups project is that we did a amazing job.

And last but not least we have group three. They did an amazing job with their project. While presenting their work they showed a lot of knowledge, and they did a well organized presentation. One of the members of the group was not there, and despite that, they kept going and did their part of the project. They talked about Racial Division and the Pandemic. Those were the hottest topics for this year, 2020. Definitely, in the future we will remember this year. They made good points, and each one of them made clear their opinions. They used a lot of pictures and videos. This was the best project in my opinion.

I hope to have a better experience in our next project. All I can say is that I have been learning a lot from my mistakes and I will use that knowledge to do a better job next time. I would also like for my partners to help more, be more interested in our assignment and to have a better communication so we can turn in everything on time and create an amazing project.
